All About Your Session

Researching senior photographers can be very daunting... there are so many to choose from and not enough time in the world to decide! Here's what sets Shelly Rose Photography apart from all other photographers in this area. With a senior portrait session from Shelly Rose Photography, you can count on having impeccable hair and makeup. Professional hair and makeup makes all the difference when having photos taken. We also pride ourselves on having totally unique and original locations that we shoot at, so your senior portraits won't look like anyone else's! We coach you through every moment of your experience so you're never left wondering what to do!

We also provide a PREMIER ORDERING SESSION where you get to see all your beautiful photos in a fabulous slide show at our studio, and we'll help you through the entire selection process. No floundering around on your own, trying to figure out what to purchase! We want your experience to be unforgettable and want you to know that we value you as the unique individual that you are! Each of your photos will be totally personalized to represent YOU!

Q: What is your editing process?
A: We digitally retouch every image that we show you. We are a high quality, boutique studio and would never show you product that was unfinished.We will enhance your photos as needed with color and lighting correction, exposure adjustments, skin smoothing and blemish removal.

Q: When will my photos be ready?
A: It usually takes 10 -14 days to edit all of your photos. Once you have placed your order, we will begin processing it immediately! You can expect to have your photos in hand within 2-4 weeks after that.

Q: How can I make a payment?
A: We accept cash, debit and credit cards (Visa & MasterCard). Your session retainer is due in order to book your session date. Your print and product order is due during your ordering session.

Q: Where do I have the photoshoot?
A: All sessions are held in Scarborough, ME. For your session fee, you are allowed one location. We will plan the session location to match your personal style and wardrobe. If you have a personal request, please be sure to mention it, and if it matches up with the session requirements of a 2-3 mile radius of the studio, we'll take it into consideration!

Q: What happens at my premier ordering session?
A: A Premier Ordering Session is a fancy term for an in-person ordering session. When it is time to view your photos for ordering, we will meet during business hours at our Scarborough studio. We will begin by viewing a slide show of all your edited photos set to music, and then get into all the different products and collections that we offer. We'll show you each individual item so you and your mom or dad can decide exactly what it is you want!

We will help you decide what image to put on your beautiful 20x24 canvas, and what image you'd like on the front of your gorgeous boutique image box. We can design storyboards and image box covers right in front of you, so you know exactly what you're getting!Immediately after your premier ordering session, we will process your payment and your order will be on its way!

We offer gift prints 8x10 and smaller and a variety of boutique products such as fine art canvas, coffee table books and custom graduation announcements.
